Fiberoptic flexible hysteroscopy showing cesarean scar defect in the anterior lower uterine segment of a patient evaluated for abnormal uterine bleeding. When identified hysteroscopically, a definitive out-pouching is visualized in the lower uterine segment, where the defect has been termed an “isthmocele.”
