Alevicyn SG Antipruritic Spray Gel

IntraDerm Pharmaceuticals, a division of Oculus Innovative Sciences, Inc, receives 510(k) clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration for Alevicyn SG Antipruritic Spray Gel with both prescription and over-the-counter indications. The Alevicyn SG prescription product manages and relieves the burning, itching, and pain experienced with dermatoses such as radiation dermatitis and atopic dermatitis. It also relieves the pain of first- and second-degree burns and helps to relieve dry waxy skin by maintaining a moist wound environment, which is beneficial to the healing process. The over-the-counter product relieves the burning and itching associated with many common types of skin irritation, lacerations, abrasions, and minor burns including sunburn. Promius Pharma LLC announces that the Promius Promise program has been expanded to include Cloderm (clocortolone pivalate) Cream 0.1% and Trianex (triamcinolone acetonide) Ointment 0.05%, both for relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. The Promius Promise program was created in 2013 to support patients.
